Enviro: I’d like to see Manapōuri sewage/treated wastewater go to airport for discharge - currently the Home Creek sign suggests raw sewage from manapōuri is going to Waiau - surely this is outrageous?!
Culture: I’d like to see te Reo included on SDC signage, simple things like Ka Kite Ano on the Rugby domain sign where it says “farewell”
Socially: I’d like to see the library respected as a ‘third space’ and follow Christchurch library lead. I’d like to see drinking fountains included in street design and active journey encouragement by implementing a 30-40kmh limit for motor vehicles all around the district towns and villages.
Economically : I’d like to see airport engagement with flying rather than weddings. Encouraging a flying school to establish.

There is the part inside the "T' wharf that would make a good training pond if it could be left full of water when the tide goes out. If it could be dammed off with thee piling and left to fill up. A food gate could be fitted so it could be emptied every often to refresh. The creeks that flow in could be left to overflow. If someone wishes they can call me and I will fill them in further.
