Winton Great North Road
With the first two stages of tree removal on Great North Road now completed, the Oreti Community Board is seeking ideas on how these areas can be revitalised. We are seeking feedback until 7 April.
We know some of you have already submitted ideas in 2022 and we thank you for your input. All previous ideas received in the first engagement will be considered.
The door is still open for more brilliant ideas and we want to make sure we give everyone a chance to help make a difference to our town.
Your feedback will be used for informing the scope of work for a landscape architect to develop some concept plans which when completed will be made publicly available for comment.
The final stage of tree removal is from the Catholic Church to De Joux Road and is scheduled for October / November 2023.
Any options submitted for consideration will be subject to consultation and agreement from Waka Kotahi – NZ Transport Agency.
